Police arrested four men and three
women at the end of a four-month-long drugs operation on Wednesday afternoon.
Officers from the Royal Cayman
Islands Police Service also recovered quantities of ganja and cocaine in a
series of busts in the Seven Mile Beach and West Bay areas.
The seven arrested people, aged
between 22 and 49, were detained and remained in police custody Thursday.
Police said enquiries are still
ongoing and “it would be inappropriate to divulge any further details of the
operation at this time”.
