CIBC hires trust officers

CIBC Bank and Trust Company (Cayman) Limited has hired two trust professionals Latasha Nixon and Catherine Tick.

Ms. Nixon, a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, has worked in the trust industry for over 10 years and has a wide range of experience in various aspects of trust and corporate administration, gained primarily through many years of working with a global financial organisation.

“Although, I have recently joined CIBC I have always admired the loyalty of its employees over the years and look forward to contributing to the continued success of this organisation,” Ms. Nixon said.

Ms. Tick, a native of Canada, has over ten years trust experience working in Bermuda and BVI before moving to the Cayman Islands. She is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, has both Trust and Trust Accounting experience and is fluent in Cantonese.

Ms. Tick commented: “I am delighted to be part of the CIBC family and looking forward to working with the Bank’s existing clients as well as developing new business relations.”

CIBC has a presence in the Cayman Islands since 1967 and employs nearly 120 people. It provides Trust and Fund Services as well as a range of unique Offshore AXIOM Mutual Funds, investment management and global custodial services. CIBC also has offices in Bahamas and Hong Kong.
