Tortuga featured in travel magazine

The December 2010 issue of Caribbean Travel and Life magazine features a two-page story on the founding of the Tortuga Rum Company. In its Local Flavour section, the article, titled Slice of Life, tells of the trials and triumphs of Robert and Carlene Hamaty, who turned a family rum cake recipe into an internationally known brand. Also shown were some of Tortuga’s award winning rums, noting that it is Tortuga rum that “gives the potent kick to the complimentary rum punch served aboard Cayman Airways flights.”
