Cayman Islands Premier McKeeva Bush will make a national broadcast address tonight and is expected to announce measures aimed at stimulating the local economy.
The Premier’s office said Mr. Bush has taken advice from various stakeholders since his last address in September, during which he promised to speak to the country to announce measures that would “return the Cayman Islands to the path that created its success”.
The Premier’s address will be broadcast courtesy of Radio Cayman and television station Cayman 27. Radio Cayman airs the address immediately following its 6pm and 10pm newscasts on Thursday evening and after the 8am newscast on Friday morning. Cayman 27 televises the address at 8pm on Thursday.
