A personal concierge service is to be implemented at Owen Roberts International Airport.
The meet-and-greet facility will be operated by Island Air, which provides fixed-based operator facilities and services at the general aviation terminal.
The service includes reservation management and VIP front door arrival and departure services.
There’s also a concierge facility for hotel reservations, early check-in, transfers, dinner reservations and a car-to-gate departure service where representatives meet the passenger and whisk them through airport departures.
An arrival service involves meeting passengers at the aircraft gate and assisting through procedures on entry.
The objective is to provide an enjoyable experience while minimising travel time for busy flyers, explained Marcus Cumber of Island Air.
“We understand the requirements of the business traveller when it comes to world travel and demanding tour schedules,” he noted.
The service costs $150 for groups of up to five people.
