The National Trust Land Reserve Fund received a helping hand from local artist Theresa Grimes recently.
The artist donated a percentage of the money raised through an art exhibition on 7 March at Calypso Grill.
The evening featured various works by Ms Grimes, including paintings showing scenes from Grand Cayman, Jamaica and Italy.
The event was well attended and Ms Grimes was able to present the Trust with a donation of $3,000.
The Land Reserve Fund was set up to help with the preservation of Cayman’s wild areas which are important habitats for indigenous flora and fauna.
