Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant may be in a battle with the Memphis Grizzlies in the Western Conference semi-finals. But the two-time league-leading scorer can relax in the offseason at his new Miami pad.
According to the South Florida Business Journal, a company affiliated with Durant bought a $1.825 million unit at 900 Biscayne Boulevard. The company, K. Durant Enterprises, closed on the property, which is a three-bedroom, 3,535 square foot condo.
The 63-story skyscraper is just blocks away from American Airlines Arena (home of the Miami Heat) and only a short drive from Miami Beach. Durant is three floors above Heat star Dwyane Wade.
Durant has maintained his desire to remain in Oklahoma City. Last summer, he signed a five-year contract extension with the Thunder that begins next year and will keep him in Oklahoma City through the 2015-16 season. Last month he bought a 3,460 square foot home in Oklahoma for $1.8 million.
