Walkers Management Services recently celebrated its first year of operation in Delaware.
Since opening in May 2010, Walkers Management Services’ Delaware office has grown significantly with seven Walkers employees in Wilmington. It opened with two staff members.
From its office in Delaware, which is one of the management and fiduciary services group’s six international locations, Walkers Management Services provides corporate and fiduciary services to US and international clients.
Walkers Management Services opened in Delaware as part of a major international expansion in 2010 in response to client demand. “Many of our clients have a number of Delaware entities within their corporate structures and had said that they wanted to see the same level of service and added-value applied to their Delaware entities as they already receive from Walkers in our other global jurisdictions,” said Renee Haggerty, vice president of Walkers Corporate Services Delaware Ltd.
In assisting clients in the management of Delaware entities within their global corporate structures, Walkers Management Services provides statutory registered agent and company secretarial services in Delaware and acts as a recipient for service of process in New York. Additional corporate services include Delaware state franchise tax and annual report submissions, the maintenance of consistent entity good standing and corporate governance specialists as single points of contact.
On the fiduciary side, Walkers Management Services provides independent director and fiduciary services, working with hedge fund, private equity fund and structured finance clients.
