Armed robbery at auto parts shop

 

Two masked men armed with shotguns robbed the Payless Auto
Parts store in Eastern Avenue, George Town, on Thursday night.

Police said the two armed men entered the store about 8.54pm
on Thursday, 11 August, and demanded cash.

They took the cash register that contained an undetermined
sum of money, as well as the cashier’s handbag.

One suspect is described as 5’8” tall, of slim build,
wearing a long sleeved green striped shirt. The other is described as being
about 5’10’ tall, slim, and wearing a long sleeved blue striped shirt. Both
wore black gloves.

Police said they escaped on foot from the premises.

No shots were fired and no one was injured during this
incident.

  1. Zero tolerance needed! Using a firearm to commit a crime – 30 years automatic. Discharging the firearm while committing a crime – life without parole. We should send criminals to the Jamaican prison system and pay the Jamaican government to house them – will show them what a real prison is about – no lobster on the menu there!
