Anna Dewdney, author and illustrator of the popular Llama Llama series, will be in town on Wednesday, 28 Septemer, as part of the Story Time Tour hosted by Books and Books.
Dewdney’s series, which includes Llama Llama Red Pajama, Llama Llama Mad at Mama and Llama Llama Misses Mama, tell the simple adventures of the endearing llama through fun rhymes. The author says the idea came to her when she realised she did not know what sound a llama made, and so she created one that spoke.
Dewdney will read from her latest book, Llama Llama Home with Mama, at 10.30am, as well as give a drawing demonstration.
There will also be a book signing and a sing-along. The free event is recommended for children up to age 7.
