If you could write a letter and help save someone’s life, would you do it? You can become a letter writer for Amnesty International, the human rights organisation, by writing to:
Marketing and Supply Team
Amnesty International
International Secretariat
Peter Benenson House
1 Easton Street
London WC1X ODW
England
Fax: 011 44 171 956 1157 or
email [email protected]
You will receive booklets on what to say in your letters – you need only write a few sentences.
Help to stop serious human rights violations such as torture, imprisonment for one’s beliefs, unfair trials and political killings by governments.
When you read the Amnesty International newsletter that someone about whom you wrote was released, you will experience real joy.
It seems impossible that thousands of Amnesty International members writing a simple letter each could save a life, but it happens.
Look beyond our borders and help make the world a better place.
