Canines were top dog at last weekend’s annual fundraise, aka Doggywood, for the Cayman Islands Humane Society.
The event, at the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, featured a fashion show in which dogs don tuxedos in hopes of getting a home; a silent auction; a human fashion show and fine cuisine.
The evening was attended by more than 500 supporters of the Humane Society’s shelter.
“It is a pleasure to be here tonight supporting these wonderful animals,” said volunteer and treasurer Julie Arnall. “The work the Humane Society does is so important, and it is great to see the event grow each year.”
