Greenlight shone brightest

Greenlight RE are officially the kings of bowling in the Cayman Islands.

The company saw its Greenlight Strokers team dominate the 2011 Fall edition of the Kings Bowling League. Taking place at Kings Sports Centre, the competition ran for seven weeks at Kings Sports Centre.

Greenlight finished first place in the regular season standings at 5-1. Guiding the side was hockey player Tim Courtis, who has the highest score ever registered at Kings with 224 points (the mark was reached outside of league play). During the league his highest total was 145 points. Greenlight would end their campaign with a victory over Scared Splitless in the league playoff final last week.

In all six teams competed in the league, which saw games every Monday. The other four squads were, WestStar Unbelievabowls; One Down, 99 To Go; Fox Force Five and Cayman Free Press Strikers.
