Despite the one day, thousands of Citi employees volunteer their time every day as an on-going commitment.
It’s part of who we are and what Citi is all about, and demonstrates that voluntaryism is embedded in our corporate culture; and we hope that our example inspires others in the Cayman Islands,” read a news release.
Volunteer groups were working in North America, Asia Pacific, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa on projects addressing community needs, including literacy, housing, environmental protection, nutrition, health care and disaster relief.
