The annual Kiwanis Club Santa Claus Landing will take place Saturday, 3 December, at the Airport Park playground located adjacent to Owen Roberts International Airport in George Town.
The event, which starts at 2pm, has been sponsored by Caribbean Utilities Company for the past 24 years.
“CUC is proud to be associated with this popular community event for the past 24 years and we are pleased to continue our support of the Santa Claus landing activity,” said Pat Bynoe-Clarke, CUC manager of corporate communications. “The company recognises the joy and excitement this event brings to the many children who attend. As a result, it is a major highlight of our Community Involvement calendar and our employees are happy to volunteer their time and talent to ensure its success.”
As is customary, Santa Claus and his helpers will be handing out gifts and treats to children. Bouncing castles, face painting and photo opportunities with Santa will be part of the activities.
The annual Santa’s landing is coordinated by the Kiwanis Club of Grand Cayman and is supported by local businesses. CUC and the Kiwanis Club encourage parents to bring their children between 2 and 4pm to meet Santa Claus.
