Wilson’s ‘Rule the World’ hits mainstream television

Musician Stuart Wilson’s latest song and music video ‘Rule the World’ is now playing on Tempo Music Television and premiered on World Reggae Music Television on Friday 9 December 2011 in addition to being added to play lists around the world.

The song has been enjoying great success on the international reggae scene after its release on the Vibes and Tides (set one) compilation album, alongside artists such as Jah Cure, Sizzla and Maxi Priest. The album shot to No. 43 on i-tunes.

With “Rule the World” showing up in so many places and gaining traction, the song seems poised to make a run at the charts.

The video for the song, which was done by Ben Hudson of Beneficial Entertainment is the first by a Caymanian artist to air on Tempo, as well as World Reggae Music Television.

With regard to the feat the artist said he was humbled and encouraged.

“I know success is governed by certain laws and once we abide by the laws of success, it will find us. I am doing what I really feel is my calling in life and trying to stay true to my heart and what it is telling me,” the artist remarked. He added that the next step was to release another single and video for early January and continue to follow the momentum that his current project has initiated.

Future dates for Stuart Wilson include New Year’s Eve at The Ritz Carlton, Grand Cayman, as well as opening a very special show in Grand Cayman for February, which will be announced in the coming weeks. The artists will also be travelling to Belize for a show in early March, in addition to considering offers to appear with his band Love Culture around the Caribbean.
