Arrest made in club stabbing

Police arrested a 20-year-old man Monday in connection with a stabbing at Club 7 nightclub over the weekend.

The stabbing victim, a 36-year-old man, is recovering in hospital after being stabbed multiple times in the torso around 2am Saturday night.

Police arrested the suspect on suspicion of assault causing grevious bodily harm in a police operation in the West Bay area Monday afternoon.

The victim showed up at the Cayman Islands Hospital early on Saturday morning with stab wounds.
