Please allow me space on your page to rectify the things that have been said about the Glamorous Granny pageant going to the scrap pile.
I would like to advise the public that nothing could be further from the truth. The GG committee is working very hard to put together the best show ever.
There are a few changes in this year’s show, but I wouldn’t go as far as to say that we are all on the scrap pile, at 82 years I am far from it and with the good Lord’s help I hope to be around for a bit longer.
I would like to say to my Cayman ladies, wherever you come from, don’t think life is over at 40. It’s just begun, keep the heart young and the mind and body will still want to be going.
Forget the aches and pains, get up and move! That’s the best medicine.
Pain likes for you to sit down and be old; don’t do it! Remember when you were young with dancing feet? Well those feet are still there, a little older but still in use.
We are having our Christmas pageant this year at the beautiful Harquail Theatre and I invite you to all come out and see our 13 beautiful ladies performing the London show; the black and white minstrels, the first of this in the Cayman Islands.
This show is not to be missed.
