WB barber shop robbed

Two suspects held up a West Bay barber shop Thursday evening, according to the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service. 
 
The robbery occurred around 7.30pm at the business on West Church Street.
 
According to police, two people – one of them armed with a gun – entered the shop and demanded cash. Both fled after receiving some cash from the register. 
 
No shots were fired and no one was hurt. 
 
The first suspect was described as approximately 5’ 6” in height, medium brown complexion and heavy/fat build. He was wearing a long sleeved dark top, dark jeans, gloves and had a black t-shirt wrapped over his face and head.

The second man was approximately 5’10” – 6’ in height, braided hair and very slim build. He was wearing a long sleeved grey top, jeans,  gloves and had a grey/black t-shirt over his face and head. He spoke with what has been described as Caymanian/Jamaican accent.

  1. We have petitions about the West Bay Road, the Boddentown waste management facility and now 1 person – 1 vote. When oh when will someone care enough to put forth a petition about the crime that is destroying the fabric of the society here. What to Caymanian parents tell their children,These issues are more important than crime.
