Church of God convention begins

The 77th Annual Convention of the Church of God Chapel in the Cayman Islands begins Friday and runs through 29 February at the Chapel on Walker’s Road.

The five senior pastors of the Church of God Chapel congregations in the Cayman Islands, will share the many aspects of getting real with the Holy Spirit and what will happen when we do.

The public is invited to join in this time of praise and inspired preaching and teaching on the subject of the Holy Spirit.

The kick-off event will be a 7.30pm youth rally at the sanctuary of the Church of God Chapel on Walkers Road. All youths are invited to attend this service featuring local youth groups and Claire Harbron, high school teacher and youth advocate.

The regular services start on Sunday, 26 February, with a morning service at the chapel at 10.30am. Evening services will be held Sunday through Wednesday at 7.30pm. The Triple C School band and choir will participate on Tuesday night. Both Sunday services will be broadcast live by Radio Cayman.
