The Cayman Islands Red Cross is again holding the Fashionably Yours … For Humanity fashion show fundraiser.
This year’s fashion show, scheduled for 5pm on Thursday, 29 March at Camana Bay, promises to be a fun filled evening with fashionable models dressed exclusively by NKY Collections. There will also be live entertainment and auctions.
“This is our second annual fashion event and the Red Cross is excited as last year was a great success,” said Jondo Obi, director of the Cayman Islands Red Cross. “Members of the public where spoiled with an amazing fashion show and were also able to learn about the diverse programmes and services that the Red Cross provide in the community.”
This year, patrons will have the option of purchasing two kinds of tickets. A general ticket will cost CI$35 – CI$40 at the gate – and include a complimentary glass of white wine as well as food featuring tastes from around the world from local restaurants Abacas, Karoo, Michaels and Black Trumpet.
Exclusive VIP tickets for CI$75 will include the above plus entrance to a designated lounge sponsored by The Mansion as well as preferred stage side seating, complimentary champagne, red and white wine and designer canapés by Black Trumpet.
Tickets may be purchased at Abacus and NKY collections.
This is the first fundraising event for the year for the Cayman Islands Red Cross.
Cayman Islands Governor Duncan Taylor plans to attend the event and likely will be joined by other dignitaries and local celebrities, including Deputy Governor Franz Manderson and reigning Miss Cayman Lindsay Japal.
“It was a pleasure to participate in last year’s Red Cross event and I was delighted to see the tremendous attendance of various members of the public,” Mr. Taylor said. “The work of the Red Cross is very important and, as a member of the community, I am always happy to support all their fundraising efforts.”
