Brazil could turn to Ronaldinho for the London Olympics.
The Flamengo star has been included in their preliminary squad that also includes Chelsea defender David Luiz and Barcelona ace Daniel Alves.
Ronaldinho, 31, Luiz and Alves are among a number of stars over the age of 23 on coach Mano Menezes’ list of 52 players, with Inter Milan keeper Julio Cesar, AC Milan defender Tiago Silva and Porto forward Hulk included.
Only three players over the age of 23 can be in the 18-man squad. Among the younger players listed are Santos sensation Neymar, Milan striker Alexandre Pato, Manchester United defender Rafael and Spurs star Sandro. The tournament runs from 26 July to 11 August.
