Like any business, the Cayman Islands Humane Society needs reliable office equipment to keep things running smoothly. Although the society has often benefitted from donated office equipment, the need to keep repairing its old equipment presented a constant drain on resources.
Fortunately, the humane society now boasts a brand new multi-function printer thanks to a donation from Kirk Office Equipment.
“We donated a 21 page per minute business grade multi-function model from Ricoh. The value of the machine including the surge protector and full set of supplies is $2,378,” said Donovan Brummer of Kirk Office Equipment.
He said because it is a business grade machine, it would be well-suited to the requirements of the humane society, with low maintenance and affordable toner helping the society keep expenses down.
According to Twila Escalante of the humane society, the printer will make a big difference in the operations at the society.
“It will help us to manage our paperwork
much more efficiently,” she said. “Also space wise it will be better as it is compact and will fit nicely into the very small reception area that we have. We are very grateful for this donation and are looking forward to using it.”
