Our Little Miss Cayman Islands has crowned seven year old Kianna Ebanks “Queen” in the 7-9 year division and her younger sister Hailey Ebanks “Queen” in the 3-6 division at the recent pageant held 31 March at Mary Miller Hall.
Both the girls are from the Sister Island of Cayman Brac.
Kianna Ebanks, is well known on Cayman Brac for being an intelligent, matured and talented child, excelling academically. Since the age of 3, Kianna has thrilled audiences with her ability to recite and perform fearlessly.
Her younger sister, Hailey, is by far of no less a success story. Hailey is recognised at home by her principal, teachers and persons in the community at large for her helpfulness, manners and overall intelligence and boldness on stage.
The Little Miss Scholarship Competition is held annually and is based around encouraging young ladies to develop positive attitudes and good morals, as well as helping them to gain self confidence.
With their crowns now comes the opportunity to represent the Cayman Islands in the World’s Our Little Miss Scholarship Competition to be held in Jacksonville, Florida this year.
The organisation hopes all will share this experience with the girls by choosing to sponsor Kianna and Hailey in the upcoming overseas event.
The organisation is seeking the assistance of businesses and/or individuals to sponsor and help offset some of the expenses for the young ladies to attend the Our Little Miss Scholarship Competition in Jacksonville, Florida this July.
