Royal Cayman Islands Police officers are looking for a suspect who was involved in stealing a donation box from the Burger King on Walkers Road on 26 May.
Police released CCTV images of the suspected thief Wednesday in attempts to find the man.
The theft occurred around 7.30 am on Saturday, 26 May, when a group of approximately five men distracted staff, according to police. One of the men then grabbed the charity box and then left the location on a bicycle, police said.
The box was found a short distance from the store the next day. The cash had been taken out of it, police said.
The suspect is described as male with a dark complexion and braided hair. He was wearing a black t-shirt and light-coloured three quarter length jeans.
Anyone who can identify the man in the attached stills should contact George Town police station on 949-4222.

Problem is that he looks like about 75% of Cayman’s present population. Lucky for him, but not for the Police.
It took 5 men to mastermind the taking of a donation box, full of cents and the odd dollar bill? It is almost like Ocean’s Eleven, the complexity of the operation.
How about images of the other 4 men?
It would be very helpful if the design on the front of his shirt was described by someone such as the police which could possibility make him unique. It doesn’t look like a common image or message.
