Man stabbed at party in GT

A man is being treated in hospital after he was stabbed early Thursday morning in the Windsor Park area of George Town.

The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service reported that at 3.30am, officers received a report that a 34-year-old man had been admitted to the Cayman Islands Hospital in George Town suffering from a serious stab wound to his neck.

Police said the man was stabbed while attending a large gathering in Hawkins Drive, Windsor Park. It is believed the incident took place around 3.15am.

The victim remains in hospital in stable condition, police said.

RCIPS detectives are appealing for anyone who was in attendance at the gathering and saw anything that could assist the enquiry to come forward. Police said it was suggested that around 50 people were in the area at the time.
