Four charged in Scotiabank robbery

Update: Three men appeared in Summary Court Thursday charged in connection with the robbery of Scotiabank in downtown George Town on 3 May.

A fourth man was expected to be brought to court on Monday.

Christopher Julian Myles, also known as Frank White, and another man charged as James Herbert McLean are accused of conspiracy to commit robbery.

Kevin Curtis Bowen is charged with being an accessory after the fact.

Attorney Lloyd Samson told Magistrate Valdis Foldats  the Crown was being put on notice that bail applications would be made as soon as attorneys received disclosure papers.

He spoke on behalf of Myles, 31, who is of a George Town address.

Attorney Fiona Robertson appeared for McLean, 21, of North Side.

The magistrate was advised that John Furniss  will represent Bowen, 30, of Prospect.

The three defendants were remanded in custody until Tuesday, 26 June.

Attorney Jenisha Simpson appeared for the Crown.
