The United States Coast Guard Cutter Venturous was scheduled to arrive Monday, 3 September for a three-day visit in Grand Cayman.
The vessel has a complement of 14 officers and 66 enlisted persons, under the command of Cmdr. Troy Hosmer.
GUANTANAMO BAY, Cuba (April 29, 2010) The U.S. Coast Guard Reliance-class cutter Venturous (WMEC-625) pulls into Naval Station Guantanamo (GTMO) Bay, Cuba to take on fuel and stores. Venturous is deployed to the U.S. 4th Fleet Caribbean area conducting counter-narco-terrorism and migrant operations. GTMO is a logistical hub for the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Army and Allied vessels operating in the Caribbean theater.
