Bodden Town keeper Ramon Sealy has started his season impressively for West Florida University, named as the Gulf South Conference Defender, even though his side lost 1-0.
The former John Gray High School pupil gave a brilliant performance for the Argonauts in their first game of the season against Saint Leo.
Sealy, 21, who plays for the Cayman Islands national team, defied the Lions last Saturday, recording six saves, the same as two other Gulf South Conference keepers so far this season. He leads the conference with a .857 save percentage.
This is the second time at West Florida University that Sealy has earned the recognition, having won Defender of the Week a year ago, after shutting out Saint Leo. In addition, he was named to the All-Gulf South Conference first team in 2011 after being ranked second in goals against average in the conference.
