Last Thursday, Mr. Bush and other members of the Cayman delegation made a stop in London on their way to attend the annual European Union Overseas Countries and Territories Association Forum which is being held in Greenland next week.
During the brief stop-over, the Premier met for the first time with UK Minister Mark Simmonds, who was recently appointed as the new Parliamentary Under Secretary of State in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
“Both the Minister and Premier identified a number of issues and concerns that affect the Cayman Islands’ public finance management which they would like to see addressed,” according to a statement from the Premier’s office.
Mr. Bush and the rest of the Cayman delegation departed London Saturday for Copenhagen where they attend a pre-forum meeting of the Caribbean Overseas Countries and Territories Council, of which the Premier is Vice Chairman, before finally continuing on to Greenland on Monday morning.

What on earth is the Caribbean Overseas Countries and Territories Council doing meeting in Copenhagen?? And which are these Caribbean Overseas etc etc?
Greenland??
The mind boggles, while urgent matters to be dealt with in Cayman are ignored.
You really would be hard put to make it up.
Hopefully Mr. Bush will return from Greenland with information critical to local businesses. Like how to properly store whale blubber and avoid icebergs. Then the expense of his trip will be well worth it.
