Pedestrian struck in Bodden Town

A woman has been taken to the Cayman Island Hospital in George Town by Emergency Medical Services following a motor vehicle collision along Shamrock Road in the vicinity of Corella Drive.

About 5:40 pm on Tuesday 16th October, a pedestrian was struck by a car whilst standing on the shoulder of the road.

Emergency services responded and took the injured party to the Cayman Islands Hospital in George Town. The pedestrian is presently being treated for injuries received.

Anyone who witnessed the road collision is asked to contact the Bodden Town Police Station at 947-2220.
