Loads of cool stuff happening over on Cayman Brac this weekend with our mates at the Heritage House behind some groovy events.
First off, from 6.30pm on Friday, 19 October, Brac Reef Beach Resort hosts a craft market.
Items available for sale will include local crafts and artwork, historical and nature related books, silver thatch items, jewellery and more.
At the event there will be a thatch rope laying demonstration, a kids activity table and a great collection of goodies to choose from to get that perfect souvenir, we’re told.
The very next day, which unless we are very much mistaken, is Saturday, 20 October, there’s a Kids’ Day at Heritage House.
From 10am to midday this free programme, which is designed to be educational and fun will take kids on a journey through Caymanian culture involving crafts, games, videos and more.
Saskia Edwards tells us that because it’s (nearly) that time of year, there will be a spooky theme.
“There will be all kinds of sweet treats, fun games and kids can even dress in costume if they wish,” she tells us.
