A special spooky haunted house will be shimmering into the edge of vision at Camana Bay on Friday, 26, Saturday, 27 and Wednesday, 31 October.
The House of Horror is a walk-through, maze-like room with many features to scare young and old, says Rennee Brough of Rotary Club, which is organising matters.
“Each room has its own theme and there are 10 rooms in total,” she says. “An example of a few rooms would be The Torture Chamber, The Morgue, The Cemetery, The Electric Chair. We will have people guiding groups through.”
While the house is family-friendly to an extent, under-10s must be accompanied by an adult. This is pretty scary stuff!
But it’s all in a great cause, with the $10 ticket price going to the Rotary Club’s supported charities. These include literacy projects, senior citizen Boxing Day luncheon (serve more than 300 senior Caymanians), Xmas Tree lighting, Cayman Sailing team, Meals on Wheels, East End after-school programme and Polio Eradication World Wide.
The house is open from 6.30 to 11pm and for advance tickets and further information you can call 916-5762 … if you dare.
