Get into red for a great cause

A special wine tasting event takes place on Saturday, 3 November.

The Shades of Red evening is organised by Rotaract Blue, with money raised going to Cayman AIDS Foundation and other community service initiatives.

The event will be at the Brasserie with attire set to formal. The theme is “A Night In Paris”, which means that we’re promised exquisite French wines along with delicious eats. The tasting room is getting ready and the sommeliers are waiting, we’re told.

According to the blurb:

“A bite of food is the perfect companion to a glass of wine. Pour a glass for a worthy cause and enjoy a night in Paris. The fifth annual Shades of Red will take your taste buds on a journey through France.”

Sounds ace to us. This annual event utilises a warm, laid-back and enjoyable setting to raise awareness and encourage healthy lifestyle choices that prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS.

There is live entertainment and a silent auction.

The evening begins at 6pm and costs $75. Please contact [email protected] for more details.
