Two-mile run
a ‘Breeze’

Get up and stretch your legs early this Saturday, 3 November. It’s the Breeze Fusion run and walk and it’s a manageable two miles, so no excuses from the less athletic.

Whatever the weather, organisers say the event will go ahead and proceeds will benefit the National Council of Voluntary Organisations and Rotaract Blue.

The route begins at Smith Cove at 6.30am. Runners and walkers will head up South Church Street, cut across Denham Thompson to Walkers Road and head down to the bottom to rejoin South Church Street and back to the start line. It’s just far enough to allow you to work up a decent appetite for breakfast.

The first 100 walkers and 100 runners will get a participant medal and goodie bag. Organisers are hoping they event will draw at least 200 participants this year, to top last year’s numbers.

Registration is $15 for adults and $10 for children under 16. Walkers and runners can register in advance via Cayman Active or from 6am on the day.
