A group of 30 Cuban migrants that started out aboard a makeshift craft has now continued its journey to Honduras, after having its number of passengers reduced to 25.
According to Immigration Department officials, two migrants got off the boat when it reached Cayman Brac on Wednesday.
Another three came ashore Friday off East End and were taken into custody by immigration officers. The other 25 opted to continue on Friday.
One of the three passengers who came ashore Friday had just been repatriated to Cuba from Cayman in April, officers said.
