Cayman Hockey in good cause

Hockey teams are being called for in a great cause.

On Saturday, 12 January, the Cayman Islands Youth Roller Hockey Club will take to the streets for its third annual Cayman Hockey Fights Cancer street hockey tournament. This year, according to venue Camana Bay, all proceeds will go toward the Cayman Islands Hospital’s planned chemotherapy unit and the development of youth hockey within the Cayman Islands.

The divisions include Mites, Novice, Atom and PeeWee, as well as an all age girls’ division and the popular Mums’ division. One member of each team must be new to the sport, say organisers, who say we all must encourage friends or classmates to try a new sport in aid of a great cause.

Players must sign up as a team of four and registration is $120 per team.
