Beauty, bubbly, Botox

Be charitable and treat yourself to a spa treatment.

Just in time to have you looking your best for Valentine’s Day, the aestheticians, technicians, medical and nursing personnel at Beyond Basics are holding a special Little Red Dress Beauty event. The evening event, which runs from 4pm to 7pm, On Thursday 7 February, does double duty as a demonstration/information session and a fundraiser for both the Humane Society and the Cayman Islands Crisis Centre.

“Because all our staff love animals to the point that none of our products are animal tested, and because we feel no person should be abused, we have chosen to assist these two organisations during this evening,” explains Maggie McLendon, of the medical day spa.

The event is free to attend and while they would like you to attend wearing a little red dress, you won’t be turned away if you don’t!

You’ll be able to enjoy some complimentary cocktails and appetisers while having the chance to ask the experts all about the differences between Botox and Juvederm, and what Obagi can do for you.

Free medical grade digital photography of your skin with printed reports and photos will be available for everyone to take home with them, compliments of OBAGI, and a variety of free mini-services will be offered throughout the evening. This will include nail polishing, free make up applications, hand massages and brow art. There will be live Botox and Juvederm demonstrations plus various live noninvasive laser demonstrations such as skin tightening and cellulite reduction.

Every 30 minutes raffle prizes will be drawn, some worth up to $500. Donate $10 to the charity to either the Humane Society or the Crisis Centre and you will be entered in the prize draw.

Donate $10 and you’ll also be eligible for a 10 per cent discount on products and services, $15 gets you 15 per cent and $20 buys you a 20 per cent discount. A $25 donation entitles you to $50 off Juvederm.

So ladies (and gentlemen – it’s open to all), grab a friend and head down to Smith Road Plaza for a little bubbly, Botox and banter.
