Buzz aim to be bees knees again

The five-a-side football league is well under way at King’s Sports Centre with three competitive leagues battling it out to be crowned champions.

Two weeks ago, in Division Three, Richard Crozier hit a hat-trick for PwC as they beat No XQ’s 3-1. Will Hall scored for XQ’s.

The Doghouse Devils II thrashed Ernst & Young, 7-1. Rob Patraulea’s hat-trick was the pick of the Doghouse performances and the others came from Michael Murphy (2), Kia Mc Griele and Leigh Hipkins. Steve Bell got the Ernst & Young goal.

Another team in seventh heaven was the CML Claymores, who won 7-3 against the Transformers.

Ernst & Young bounced back from their heavy defeat to inflict a 9-3 victory on KPMG. Kenwy Walcott scored a hat-trick and the other Ernst & Young scorers were Craig Linley (2), Robert Crochett and Matt Coeling. KPMG scorers were Ryan Eisenhammer (2) and Luke Murray.

Doghouse Devils I were beaten by PwC, 4-2. Richard Crozier got three and Steve Halliday got the other for PwC. Richard Reading and Fran Donoghue got the Doghouse goals.

In Division Two, the Cayman Buzz Crusaders started their season well, beating West Star, 7-4, in an entertaining game. Buzz scorers were Kyle Santamaria, Santangelo Bush, Kris Pearson, Dominic Corbin, Forde Pierson, Karl Solomon and David Connolly. West Star scorers were Kevin Morre (2), Thomas Wood and Arnold Andrade.

Buzz repeated the 7-4 score last week against the Transformers with their strikes coming from Forde Pierson (2), Kyle Santamaria (2), Kris Pearson, David Connolly and Santangelo Bush. Cohen Daley grabbed a hat-trick for the Transformers and Todd Bowen got their other.

Deloitte bashed the ESSO Tigers, 8-0, with goals coming from Dan Lowry (2), Sean Dunigan, Zach Schelp, David Foster, Richardo Stewart (2) and Bryan McLaughlin.

KPMG beat the Doghouse Devils I, 4-3. Christopher Van De Water (2), Ryan Eisenhammer and Matt Stephen got the KPMG goals and Doghouse scorers were James Plowright (2) and Fran Donoghue.
