Cruise lines to gather in Miami for gala

The Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association is holding a reception and art auction in Miami during which top-level executives will be available to network.

The 19th annual gala dinner takes place at the Miami Beach Convention Center on Wednesday, 13 March. Presidents and CEOs of the major member cruise lines will be hosting tables during the evening, offering something that the association says will allow personal attention from the leading members of the industry.

Proceeds from the dinner will go to the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association Foundation.

Created in 1993, the foundation funds humanitarian causes in the Caribbean and Latin America. Several projects receive funding each year, including the Holiday Gift Project, which assisted nearly 7,000 underprivileged children throughout the Caribbean and Latin America.
