All Stars dazzle at Camana Bay

All Stars netball club reaffirmed their grip on local netball.

The A and B teams emerged victorious last Saturday in the Cayman Islands Netball Association 2013 Open League at Camana Bay’s Arts and Recreation Centre. All Stars A, the reigning national champions, would beat Storm Radarz 43-27 while All Stars B defeated Rising Stars B 29-19 in the association’s February Feature Round.

Suiting up for All Stars A were Goal Shooter Nicola Williams, Goal Attack Carolyn Vivian, Wing Attack Kayon Clarke, Centre Katherine Maw, Wing Defence Tashena Parks, Goal Defence Cynthia Collington and Goal Keeper Teneisha Wilson. Rising Stars would counter with GS Aaliyah Webb, GA Alexis Carias, WA Jayda Powery, C Shanai Allen, WD Annique Blake, GD Hannah Peralta and GK Karla Rankine. The subs were Tasha Dilbert-Bennett, Cassiedy Quintero and Kady Myers.

The subs were Tara Ramoon, Jameka Ebanks, Kacey Solomon and Tricia Skyers-Palacio.

Flames never backed down and deserve credit for outscoring their opponents in the second half.
