Two men and a 14-year-old boy have been arrested and are in police custody following an attempted burglary in the Tropical Gardens area.
Around 1pm Tuesday, police received a report of an attempted break in at a house on Sorrel Drive, Tropical Gardens. A blue Honda CRV had been seen driving away from the location.
A description of the car was circulated and a short time later police said it was spotted by officers on Shedden Road. The officers stopped the vehicle and arrested two men aged 24 and 26, as well as the 14-year-old on suspicion of attempted burglary.
Police enquiries are ongoing and anyone who was in the area of Sorrel Drive Thursday is asked to call George Town police station on 949-4222, or Crime Stoppers 800-8477 (TIPS).
