Eastern Star got their first win in local dominoes for 2013.
The club beat Sea Inn by 29 points this month in the Cayman Islands Domino Association 2012-2013 National League. Richard Jackson and Michael Tibbetts starred for Sea Inn while Michael Whittaker and Clifton McLaughlin carried Eastern Star.
Sea Inn would rebound to crush Ultra by 42 points last Sunday. Leroy Davis and Melvin “Willow Tree” Williams were the stars while Ultra leaned on Richard Allen and James Richards.
Last Sunday also saw Archies beat Island All-Star by 42 points. The stars for Archies were Phillip “Rav-4” Crowl and Carl Walcott. For the record, East End Mystical Youth earned a forfeit win over Kelly’s.
Matches continue on Sunday, 24 March. Mystical Youth face DLK in East End while Ultra face Eastern Star at Ultra Bar.
