Waurie, sojahs and quarto

Kids can spend an afternoon learning the art of spinning gigs, racing sojahs (soldier crabs) or enjoy a game of waurie or quarto with Deal Ebanks and Wray Banker this weekend.

It’s another cultural workshop organised by Camana Bay and designed to promote Caymanian culture and heritage.

Families are welcome to attend and Ebanks, who is known for his dedication to preserving Caymanian traditions, will be teaching and entertaining residents and visitors with the traditional games.

The workshop takes place on Saturday, 13 July at the Discovery Centre, Camana Bay from 1.30p,=m to 3.30pm.
