“You are all stars and have all grown remarkably these past three months,” said Jamie Rogers, the Leo Club’s Miss Teen chairperson. “The committee is extremely proud of all contestants and with the results of all awards given this past weekend and the never-disappointing support of the Cayman community. Despite the weather, we still had an amazing turnout.
“The pageant marked a very special milestone, not only for the Leo Club of Grand Cayman but for the Miss Teen Cayman Islands pageant. On behalf of the Leo Club of Grand Cayman and the Miss Teen Committee, we would like to congratulate each contestant.”
Ms Rogers said the committee looks forward to a year of supporting Miss Heath in all of her plans and ideas, not only for the community but also for her platform “to promote confidence in young ladies today” as she works closely with the Francis Bodden Girls Home and Fairbanks Women’s Prison.
