The Humane Society is appealing for anyone on the Grand Cayman to Toronto flight on Saturday to take an extra piece of baggage with them – 7-month-old dog Foxy.
The society has arranged a new home for the dog in Canada and needs someone to be officially responsible for her during the flight and pick her up at the other end.
Juliette Heath, from the society, said a new home had been found for her on a farm. The society has arranged for someone to collect Foxy from the airport and drive her to her new home.
“We just need someone to allow us to check her in with them. They wouldn’t really need to do anything other than pick her up at the other end and pass her on to these wonderful people, so she can go to her new home.”
Anyone who can help should call Juliette on 929-7772 or email [email protected]
