Rains stopped the much awaited semi finals in the LIME Cayman Nations Cup but did not prevent Panthers from continuing their dominance over allcomers in the LIME Women 8–A-Side tournament.
Islanders batted first and scored 75 runs for 6 wickets with Natasha Roberts 20 and Paulette Pinnock, 14. Carneth Thomas was the most successful Panthers bowler with 2 wickets. Wyvonne Forbes 35 not out and captain Molly Ann Moore 29 not out, were severe on the Islanders bowlers as Panthers ran off winners by 7 wickets.
Both LIME tournaments will continue this weekend with many give-a-ways provided by LIME, including a phone.
