Football still funded best

The Cayman Islands government is spending nearly three-quarters of a million dollars to fund 17 sports associations this year.

Football will, as always, receives the most, over $108,000 and the boxing association gets the second highest, of just over $86,000. All but one – the angling association – get a slight increase.

Many sports have not received any funding at all. They include the watercraft association and Little League. This list does not include funding for individuals, teams and elite athletes.
