Cayman’s culinary greats are once again set to take centre stage at the annual epicurean event, Out of the Kitchen
Hosted by the Cayman Culinary Society, the event will be held on Thursday, Nov. 21 at the Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman. The gourmet gala offers a rare opportunity for Cayman’s top chefs to step out of the kitchen and into the limelight.
Now in its 23rd year the event features 25 chefs from Cayman’s finest restaurants. Each chef entertains their own dinner table with culinary tales and an exclusive four-course menu. Diners can choose which table they would like to feast at. Participating restaurants include Agau, Abacus, Blue, Cracked Conch, Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink, Lobster Pot, Taikun, Seven, Periwinkle, Luca and Icoa.
As well as a delicious culinary showcase, the event is also all for a good cause, with proceeds from ticket sales benefitting the Cayman Culinary Society and the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman’s Culinary Art Scholarship, which offers a full scholarship for a Caymanian to attend culinary school in the U.S.
Tickets are priced at $145 and include wine pairings and a dessert buffet. The gala event starts at 6:30 p.m. Call 815-6117 for ticket reservations.
