Super C scores with Pinchers

Future Sports Club footballer Cachas “Super C” Stewart’s day job as a deejay always has him scoring with great music.

Stewart loves the cut and thrust on the football field, but he puts his boots aside next week to promote a concert featuring Jamaican dancehall star Pinchers at the Mango Tree on Shedden Road.

Pinchers will be dropping all his fabulous hits, including “Bandelero,” “Champion Bubbler” and “Agony” on Friday, Nov. 29. Show starts at 10 p.m.

“Pinchers is still very popular from his hits in the ‘80s, and from the feedback I’m getting, we’re going to have a great crowd,” Pinchers said.

“John Holt was supposed to play on this date but it clashed with a prior engagement.”
